	Astrologisk Museum er verdens første af sin art. Dette blev fastslået ved en international, erhvervsastrologisk kongres i New York i stiftelsesåret 1999 Astrologisk Museum er samtidig den første astrologiske institution i Danmark (og i Norden), som primært er en public service funktion Astrologisk Museums Forening ejer Astrologisk Museum, indtil økonomien tillader stiftelsen af museet som en selvejende institution. Foreningen vil derefter fortsætte som støtteforening for museet Formålsparagraf Foreningen har som erklæret formål at skabe et konkret og dokumenteret kendskab til både det astrologiske fagområde, dets historiske baggrund og dets samfundsmæssige betydning. Dette formål søges realiseret ved - at opbygge Astrologisk Museum og dets samlinger - at opbygge de nødvendige katalogiseringsredskaber og databaser - at vedligeholde og tilgængeliggøre samlingernes indhold - at stille museets samlinger og katalogiseringsredskaber til rådighed for forskningsarbejde - at publicere, forelæse og på anden vis gøre museets videnmængde alment tilgængelig at åbne museets samlinger for offentligheden i nærmere bestemt omfang .

Museum of Astrology is at the same time the first astrological institution in Denmark (and in Scandinavia) that is primarily a public service function The Museum of Astrology Association owns Museum of Astrology untill economy permits establishin the museum as a non-profit organisation. The association will then continue supporting the museum. Statement of purpose The association has the explicit purpose of creating a concrete og documented knowledge of both the professional field of astrology, its historical background and its impact on society. This purpose is sought realized by - building the Museum of Astrology and its collections - building the necessary tools for cataloguing and database management - maintaining the collections and making their contents accessible making the collections and the tools of cataloguing available for research work - publicizing, lecturing and in other ways making the museums fund of knowledge accessible for the public - opening the collections of the musem for the public in defined ways
